Hayley is an island girl at heart. She was raised on the shores of the pacific island Tongatapu by a family of artists and that is where she draws much of her inspiration from when creating her pieces. Hayley moved back to Australia at the age of 17, to study at Griffith University and has received a BA double major in Screen Production and Art Theory.

An accomplished Australian film industry sculptor, Hayley spent over 12 years working for people such as Baz Lurman, Cathryn Martin, Ridley Scott on films staring talent such as Hugh Jackman, Mathew McConaughey, Leonardo Dicaprio, Michael Fassbender… to drop a few names! She was also awarded the Griffith Film School Alumnus of the Year award in 2013 for Outstanding Achievement in the Australian Film Industry.

This year 2020, marks the 7th year Hayley has run hayley egan, her innovative product design and art production business. Bringing her techniques from film industry work to private clients in the interior design industry, creating sculptural installations and producing a whimsical collection of sculptural lamps and chandeliers.
